To play and learn.
I have found that I love FLASH/ActionSript and I have spent way too much time playing with it.
I also found that I enjoy the challenge of learning new software on the fly and finding new software that will suit my purposes.
In the development of the movie-trailer I learned Adobe Premier Elements as I was making it and I also expanded my knowledge of Audacity in this project as well.
It is this kind of learning that I really enjoy about web development.
